Marie-Chantal Giguère and Jocelyn Lortie, a couple in life and business for more than 30 years. We are the owners of Paquette Textiles. Managing the business is mainly Marie-Chantal's task but she is also involved in several organizations in the community such as the Festival des Montgolfières, Micro-Entreprendre, Mentor at the Gatineau Chamber of Commerce. In addition, Marie-Chantal was an ambassador for the 2015 Red Dress Gala. Jocelyn is a project management consultant for various federal government departments in addition to assisting Marie-Chantal in the management of Paquette Textiles. They are the proud parents of two young adults. They love travel, good food and good wine. It is with great pleasure that they agree to be the ambassador couple for the 2024 Gatineau Red Dress Gala for the benefit of the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
Both families have been affected by heart disease and stroke. Recently, they have a good friend in the prime of her life who has suffered a stroke. An event like this shakes and changes a life. They join the Red Dress Gala to make a difference. They do it with their "heart", with dedication to their families and friends and above all, so that future generations can have a better quality of life by postponing or eliminating heart disease and stroke.
With Paquette Textiles' "5% pour votre organism" program, they already support more than 20 organizations in the Outaouais region, including the Heart and Stroke Foundation. The Red Dress Gala is their personal cause for this year and the only Gala of its kind in Canada.
