Hello, my name is Johanne Frapet, my artist name is Carlotta Jo Dongar (international photographer, painter, and jewelry designer). I am Québécois by birth but have hardly lived in the beautiful province. Indeed, I have lived in many countries and regions of Canada: I grew up in Africa, I worked as a teacher in Saskatchewan and Alberta, and I worked in South America and the French Caribbean.
My native roots recently called me back and here I am back in the land of my mother, a Gaspésienne who has always valued her land even though I had not lived there. I decided to get involved in the charitable work for the heart because this symbol reflects my love for life: for everything that lives on our beautiful planet. We all have a heart that beats to the rhythm of the seasons, and this heart carries life but also hope.
Hope for love, for encounters, for adventures around the world, for joys and happiness that match our reach. It is with great pleasure that I have been accepted as an ambassador and I hope that my love of life will contribute to this great cause.
