My name is Sonia Provost, co-owner of Victor Victor and the Mansfield A-Frame Retreat. Beyond my entrepreneurial journey, it is above all as a woman and as a member of a family deeply affected by cardiovascular diseases that I am committed to this cause which is close to my heart. Unfortunately, I have lost several important women in my life because of these diseases. Their strength, love, and resilience continue to inspire me every day. For several years, I have supported the cause with conviction, but this year holds a very special meaning for me. I am celebrating my 37th birthday — the age at which my grandmother left us, taken by a thrombosis. This pivotal moment drives me to get even more involved, with an even deeper intention. Being an ambassador, for me, is a way to transform pain into action and to help raise awareness among women about the importance of their cardiovascular health. Too often, these diseases are perceived as mainly affecting men, even though they are one of the leading causes of death among women. Through my involvement, I hope not only to honor the memory of those I have lost, but also to encourage women to take charge of their health, to listen to themselves, and to prioritize themselves without guilt. This gala is much more than an event: it is a movement, a collective voice, a celebration of life and solidarity. Thank you for being part of this mission with me.
